The Second Annual Fast & FURious will soon be here & we are hoping you will join us on June 23rd for this fun event!
Last year, many folks came together in Richmond to Run with their Dogs, Friends & Family, enjoyed the morning, made new friends & helped a great cause. ...We are hoping for a bigger turn-out this year! This event raises money to help animals in the community & helps Save Our Strays continue to bring families and pets together - - all because you help raise money to continue the mission. So dust off your sneakers, bring you pet, Run, Walk or Trot the course, start to organize your FUNd Raising Team & help homeless animals in the process. Registration Forms & Pledge Sheets will soon be available on our website or in person at Unleashed Pet Supply, 83 Huntington Road, Richmond VT. We have a great event T-Shirt this year & early registration will guarantee choice of size (as they last). How much do you think you can raise to benefit homeless animals? Ask you friends, family, business, organization to sponsor you or Use social media and email to encourage your friends to sponsor too! Then meet us at The Volunteer Green in Richmond on June 23rd. Registration opens at 8:30 and the Run begins at 9:00. Following the event there will be prizes for runners in different categories as randomly selected winners! |

SOS Save Our Strays is dedicated to sheltering and sustaining the lives of companion animals. We are a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization founded in 1995 - all your donations are tax-deductible. SOS, Save Our Strays is run by all volunteers..this means ALL the money will go directly to the care of our animals... WE HAVE NO PAID STAFF!
- Save Our Strays is a "no-Kill" organization. We do not euthanize healthy adoptable pets. Over the years Many dogs, Cats and other small furry creatures have called Save Our Strays their 'sanctuary home' because they were not adoptable due to medical or behavioral issues. Save Our Strays has many "retirees" at our facility. These pets require continued care and are currently "non adoptable" due to age, medical condition or other issues. We are committed to caring for these animals until they live out their remaining years. Due to space, we are limited when adding new animals into our program.
Thanks for Caring. If every kid, school, or hospital had a furry companion -- the world would be a better place.

SOS, Save Our Strays was founded in 1996 and remains "Dedicated to Sustaining the Lives of Companion Animals." In addition to the several "retirees" at our facility and the economic slowdown, our focus has added another dimension beyond "sheltering." We now, when funds allow, offer "assistance to PEOPLE" so that they can continue to care for their beloved companion in their current home! We hope this additional focus will make a difference in the the number of animals given up to shelters!
Save Our Strays is proud to be a RESCUE AMBASSADOR with the Rally to Rescue. To learn more about Rally to Rescue CLICK HERE.
